Name: Okanve Bagveuw
Age: Ancient – it would be certainly rude to ask.
Race: Human
Physical Description: Well maintained locks of white hair ran from the top of his head to the nape of his neck, a thinning white beard and mustache masking the wrinkles that had over the years taken up residence upon his aging countenance. Both eyes ran milky white though despite the obvious physical deformity Okanve did not seem to be hindered with his movement. His body worn but not frail – a certain stubbornness resolve kept him moving.
Okanve always dressed lavishly - black silk shirt, proper pantaloons with purple trim along with gold and silver necklaces; gold always hanging delicately from his neck while silver would be frequently wrapped tightly around his left wrist. Ornate ruby and emerald rings danced upon every slender digit and if found walking amongst the people of the Citadel Okanve would most certainty have his cane which was intractively carved with unique runes and boasting a myriad of colors that seemed to catch fire in the light.
Personality: Friendly on the surface, patient but stubbornness could and would often trump any other emotion. He was a worldly, well traveled individual that did not boast of his own exploits but rather offered suggestions humbly and advice only upon request. Beloved amongst the community and often respected and admired even amongst the ranks of a few nobles – it would seem outright insane that he was also the mastermind behind an illegal goods empire right underneath the nose of the Queen.
Yet here we are.
History: Despite the common belief that Okanve originated at the Citadel the old one had actually come across the seas in search of a better life years ago. Originally in charge of a fruit stand, Okanves dedication and determination brought him to higher and higher standings until eventually he realized that with proper pleasantries and greasing the right palms Okanve could push his ulterior desire for unlimited power and access. Inevitably the city was overrun with an assortment of of illegal goods, prostitution, pickpockets and poachers which all reported back to a single individual – Sir Bagveuw. Life had been good.
Emphasis on had. His clientele and subordinates were soon found either dead, dying or rotting in the Citadels Jail. The new Queen Artemesia had begun ushering in an era of purity and clandestine truths – which meant his longstanding coworkers were no longer welcome within the city walls. While Okanve was able to protect himself from falling on the sword, business was now only a former shadow of what it once had been.
Bagveuw continues to try and put the pieces back together of his once fallen empire but it would take time and time was one thing he had little left. No, this would require quick solutions and immediate results. He aimed to climb to the top or burn it all down in the process.
((OOC: Wanted to roll up a second character because The Citadel enticed me and it will hopefully force me to write more frequently. As always please do let me know if you see anything that's out of the realm of possibility or potentially unfair advantage. Thanks!))
